Before my trip to Spain my friend Jimmy Fresh told me about this site. I was so glad to find a article about Madrid. This guide was useful to me! The Mercardo de San Miguel is a do not miss. There is an abundance of affordable tapas, beer, wine, cheese, sushi, desserts, and much more!
Drinking in the Plaza de Espana was great. I met a bunch of local Madrilenos and other travelers around the world.

El Tigre is a hot spot for cheap tapas. Don’t be shy just squeeze yourself in.

I am afraid to say that the cops broke up the drum circle in the park. But who knows, that shouldn’t stop the madrilenos. It may pick up again, who knows.
