Travel shows can be some of the most informative programs on TV, but there’s a limit to how long one can listen to a guy in linen pants and a Gilligan hat. That’ why we have compiled our definitive list of the 5 hottest female travel show hosts on TV. Here they are, on a scale of 1 to 5 trips around the world.

Samantha Brown

Sometimes there is nothing sexier than an experienced woman a woman who has really seen it all. Samantha Brown has been hosting shows for the Travel Channel since 2000 and she can currently be seen on, Samantha Brown’s Great Weekends. In this show, Samantha reports to us from her weekend getaways to various locations in North America and Europe, providing information on hotels, restaurants and local activities. Traveling the world for ten years, Samantha Brown is one experienced lady (and she’s hot in a Mrs. Robinson kind of way).

Megan McCormick

Megan McCormick is one of the main presenters of the show, Globe Trekker. She is a down-to-earth host of an already down-to-earth travel show in which the host gives the viewer an authentic look at the location by avoiding the tourist traps and diving into the real local culture. Whether she’s jogging in Los Angeles or getting her fortune read in West India, Megan does it with a smile and her quirky sense of humor. She is definitely the travel show host you bring home to your mother.

Mariana Van Zeller

Mariana Van Zeller is the badass of the bunch. She is a host of the show, Vanguard, on Current TV. Vanguard is a different kind of travel show, mixing travel with international affairs. Mariana Van Zeller is not afraid to get a little dirty, traveling to some of the less luxurious, and often more dangerous, places in the world to shed light on pressing international affairs. Mariana may be a badass but she’s also cute as a button and she has an accent that makes you melt into your EZ chair.

Angela May

Angela May is the whole package. She’s beautiful, she’s talented and most importantly she can cook! Angela May is a presenter on Pilot Production’s, Planet Food. In this show, Miss May takes us to places such as Greece and India, exploring the most important staple in any culture: food. Angela samples traditional dishes from the countries she visits and often learn to cook some of them. No boring old meatloaf recipes in this girl’s cookbook.

Bridget Marquardt

If you’re looking for a smart, informative and diverse travel show, Bridget’s Sexiest Beaches is probably not the show for you. However, this is a list of the five hottest travel show hosts and Bridget Marquardt, better known as Hugh Hefner’s ex-girlfriend on The Girls Next Door, is most certainly number one. In this Travel Channel show, we follow Bridget and her very attractive friends to the world’s sexiest beaches. Although she does a good job of asking questions and trying to keep each episode at least slightly educational, realistically, the main appeal of this travel show is watching a Play-bunny run around exotic beaches wearing as little clothing as possible.
