I appreciate that you included very affordable volunteer opportunities too, to make it fit many budgets.

And maybe I’m weird, but…I do recycle my ziplock bags. (Provided they are not uber-gross) I turn ‘em inside out, rinse ‘em, and drape them over bottles to dry.

I love the biking one from Pedal Powered Machines. I’d hook that up to my TV to make sure I’m in shape during the winter months and it would cut on my heating bill.

Great article!! I’m very interested in the Reef Check project, specifically the photographer or fundraiser volunteer program (no marine biologist experience here). Do you know anybody who has done it yet?
