Off Track Planet Selected as a Finalist at La Red Innova Open Talent Competition 2011
This week, the organizers of La Red Innova, one of the most prominent Tech Conferences in Europe, announced the finalists of the Open Talent Start-Up Competition. Co-sponsored by Spanish Bank BBVA, La Red Innova and Endeavor Foundation, the chosen finalists will be part of the conference this year in Madrid.
Off Track Planet was one of the teams selected as a finalist in the competition and will present the company in front of a panel of venture capitalists, competing with 19 other start-ups from around the world. The winner will be awarded 100,000 Euros and an incubation option in Madrid, with access to mentors and networking opportunities throughout Europe and Latin America.
More than 320 start-ups applied worldwide in the Open Talent Competition, were subjected to a series of rigorous evaluations conducted by venture capitalists, the Endeavor Foundation, active entrepreneurs and put in front of the public for open election. Out of the 320 candidate start-ups, the 20 with the highest potential of international growth were selected for the final. Off Track Planet is the only representative from the USA.
