Freddie Pikovsky // Co-founder & CEO

The visionary force behind OTP, Freddie is driven “to create more movement around the world”. At an early age, Freddie worked with major record labels (Warner Bros., Geffen, Elektra) in Los Angeles to launch successful marketing campaigns for a list of well known artists. After a life-changing trip abroad in 2009, Freddie launched Off Track Planet while living at a hostel in Brooklyn, NY. As a passionate entrepreneur, he spent over a year couch surfing and working from cafes throughout New York City while enlisting a talented team and growing the brand’s community to over 1 million readers and 40k followers globally.
Fun Facts: Graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School, speaks Russian, self-taught graphic designer and plays guitar.

Anna Starostinetskaya // Co-founder & Editor-in-Chief

The voice behind OTP’s unique brand, as Editor-in-Chief, Anna is responsible for all aspects of content development. Born in the former U.S.S.R., Anna graduated with a BA in International Studies from the University of California, San Diego. Anna was inspired by the positive impact of world travel after spending six months studying abroad in Spain. Prior to co-founding OTP, Anna worked as a paralegal at a Los Angels law firm before moving to New York City in 2009 to explore her writing talents, where she met OTP’s co-founder, Freddie Pikovsky.
Fun Facts: Speaks three languages (English, Russian and Spanish) fluently, likes to paint animals wearing Elvis wigs and is a devout pescatarian.

Yianni Yessios // CTO & Lead Developer

A true talent with Ivy league credentials, Yianni is the mastermind behind OTP’s innovative technology development. A graduate of Princeton University with a BA in mechanical engineering, he also holds a masters degree of Art and Technology from Ohio State University. Yianni manages web technology at Yale University and was a former professor in media art and design.With 15 years of experience, Yianni is a high-energy, creative media professional who integrates superior technology, communications and leadership skills to drive OTP’s game-changing ability to develop scalable,     expert sourced content and smart  trip planning applications across all mobile platforms.
Fun Facts: Performed as a mime, speaks Greek (some German) and makes a mean baklava.

Bianca Rappaport // PR & Community Manager

As Public Relations and Community Manager, Bianca Rappaport is responsible for OTP’s vastly growing presence in the travel and tech communities, social media and grass-roots marketing campaigns. A recent graduate from Syracuse University with a summa cum laude degree in public relations, Bianca studied abroad for four months in Italy, where she fell in love with travel. Prior to joining OTP, Bianca was a community relations intern at Southwest Airlines. Browsing the web one evening, Bianca literally Stumbled Upon Off Track Planet and took     on an internship in the summer of 2011. She quickly proved her passion and drive to help take OTP to the next level and was hired as a full-time member of the team. 

Fun Facts: Quarter Russian, quarter Polish and half Puerto Rican, would-be cat lady, once saved a baby at a bar fight  in Morocco.

Adil Dara Kim // Lead Designer

What makes OTP look so cool? Adil Dara Kim. As lead designer, Adil is responsible for designing all aspects of OTP’s published content from web to print. An Advertising and Communications graduate from Temple University with cume laude honors, Adil entered the world of graphic design with an internship at Urban Outfitters and went on to work with a long list of high-profile clients including Banana Republic, HTC, Amazon publishing and Modern Anthology. Passionate about OTP’s vision and culture, Adil has been a part of the team since 2010. 

Fun Facts: Self-taught artist, semi-pro skateboarder (in a past life), half Moroccan and Cambodian.

 OTP’s Leading Contributors
