What do we do?
OTP is a complete resource to plan, budget and purchase your way out of the country alongside our magazine style travel guide (think of it as the MAXIM magazine of travel guides), full of entertaining and insightful information to inspire travel. We are especially committed to building programs for the financially under privileged with grants, financial aid and other means of funding to allow for educational, study and work abroad solutions.

OTPs Ultimate Goal
Our passion is to popularize independent travel abroad to young adults (18-25) especially those living in the United States (known as a “gap year” in other parts of the world). We envision this as the future of mainstream youth culture and something that should be encouraged as a conventional act for young adults to educate their point of views of the world, develop core values and grow as individuals moving towards globalization. OTPs guide is a growing resource to establish and connect ourselves with the future of young travelers. We are dedicated to partnering with businesses in the growing industry to develop non-profit programs, grants and financial solutions to aid and promote youth travel abroad.
We see the world a better place when given the opportunity to appreciate our differences.
OTPs Craft
Our content is built on a collaboration of young professional travel writers with contributions by cool young locals we’ve met around the world. Material is researched and polished off by our in-house staff (based in Brooklyn, NY) designed to sound, look and feel with our ultimate goal in mind. Straight to the point, insightful and edgy topics for the young, low budget backpacker in mind.

OTP values our relationship with the youth travel community for years to come. We will not sacrifice our integrity for any amount of money to endorse a product, service, or resource we do not feel is congruent to our ultimate goal.
